Privacy

TackPouch processes the public link you submit only to prepare the current preview and save action. Media files are streamed and are not kept as a TackPouch library. Submitted links, media files, and temporary save codes are not written to analytics.

First-party statistics count successful HTML page views, approximate unique visits, and bot traffic so the service can be operated. They do not store raw IP addresses, full user-agent strings, full referrers, or visitor cookies. Raw events are retained for 14 days; aggregate totals may be retained longer.

Google Analytics 4 is available only when production configuration enables it. In the EEA, UK, Switzerland, other conservative-policy regions, or when your region cannot be determined, it stays off until you choose Allow. In other recognized regions it may start by default, and you can turn it off at any time in Analytics settings. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control keep it off in every region. First-party and Google Analytics counts are separate.

When Google Analytics is active, Google receives the network and browser information needed for that request, including your IP address, plus a clean page path and the referring site's origin if available. TackPouch never sends your pasted Pin link, Pinterest media URL or file, temporary save code, or download filename to Google Analytics. Analytics preferences and resulting cookies last no more than 180 days and can be changed at any time.

When you preview or save, your browser requests the selected item from TackPouch. TackPouch's server then fetches that selected media from Pinterest's media service and streams it back through a short-lived opaque link. The link can stop working early after a service restart or when bounded link capacity is reclaimed. Hiding the source URL in this link is not a promise that public source media is confidential.
